Basic Watercolor
Basic Watercolor is a course designed to introduce you to the tools and techniques of watercolor painting .You will be introduced to traditional methods such as wet-into-wet painting, dry brush, basic wash methods, layered transparencies and creative texture. The basic vocabulary of color, design and composition will also be incorporated as you paint a variety of subject matter including still life and landscape from observation and graphic images.
BIO
Deborah Fowler Greenwood received her Masters in Art Education at Temple University’s Tyler School as well as graduate study at RISD, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Maryland Institute of Art. She has taught watercolor classes at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in Yarmouth and at the Main Line Art Center in Haverford, Pa. She presently teaches art at Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School and was recognized as the Arts Educator of the Year in 2011 by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. She has received numerous exhibition awards and her work can be found in both private and corporate collections.
