Description
Fuller Farm Walk, A Barnstable Land Trust Property with Nancy A. Orbe
Friday, June 2nd (Rain date Sunday, June 4th)
8:30 am -11:00 am, $30
Join me as we leisurely walk the Fuller Farm, located at 995 Rt 149, Marstons Mills.
This trail is a combination of a short woodland loop overlooking cranberry bogs and an open meadow trail following the field edge of a former dairy farm. Look for a permaculture garden, other agriculture, and grazing animals. The farm consists of 22.4 acres with our walk taking us about a mile through a diverse landscape!
Spring wildflowers will be in bloom enticing butterflies, dragonflies, damsel flies, & bees. Song birds are always a possibility and an occasional Raptor may be found soaring over the old cranberry bog or meadow!
This walk will take place on Friday June 2nd with a rain date of Sunday June 4th.
We will meet in the parking lot at 8:30 for a meet & greet, Q & A, and basic camera instructions for those who will be photographing! We will begin our walk at 8:45 AM, ending around 11 AM depending on what we find!
All are welcome, birders, photographers, & nature lovers! Bring your camera, macro lens, long zoom lens & or landscape lens, & binoculars!
