“HOW DO I DO IT?” Demos- $30 Painting Perspective with Sean Cassidy

This demonstration on perspective will open your eyes to see how you can build armatures for helping build accurate perspective in your artwork. Have you always been a little confused about how perspective works in art? This workshop will answer all of those questions. The demonstration will cover all types of perspective used in art and how to use these techniques in your artwork. It will cover all aspects of one-point and two-point perspective and how you can use the science of perspective to build better more accurate and believable examples of space and depth. You will leave with a more concise and clear understanding how you can use perspective to help you in creating better drawings and paintings. Come join us!
BIO: Sean Cassidy studied art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he received a B.F.A. He later moved to Michigan where he received his M.F.A. in painting from Central Michigan University. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Central Michigan University and at Mid-Michigan Community College. His work has won various awards and has been exhibited in both national and international juried exhibitions. He is a juried member of the Copley Society of Art in Boston. Sean has taught at Anna Maria College, The Plymouth Guild for the Arts and is currently teaching at Bridgewater State University, Quincy College, the Cape Cod Art Association and also teaches classes from his studio. He enjoys sharing his passion for art with students and helping people discover a new way to see the world around them.
