Photoshop: Fixing Various Problems in Images Using the Various Tools in Photoshop

This class will cover how to fix problems in images using Photoshop. I will cover the use of the various tools in Photoshop such as the clone tool, patch tool, healing brush and spot healing brush as well as using content aware fill along with other techniques to remove such things as signs, telephone wires, people, etc. Often more than one tool in Photoshop is required to get the best results and therefore I will discuss which tools I use and when. I will supply class images on thumb drives to students and we will work together tackling various problems to get the best results. I have removed such things as outboard motors from boats, telephone wires against problematic backgrounds, etc and I’m looking forward to showing you my techniques, tips and tricks. This class will be taught using Photoshop 2019.
Prerequisites: This is not an “Intro to Photoshop class” and students must have a working knowledge of using Photoshop to take this class and possess basic computer skills and have a computer that is in good working condition. Students should have a recent version of Photoshop (Photoshop 2019 or higher is recommended) installed on their computers. We will be working with layers in Photoshop and therefore students should also have some familiarity with using layers. Students who are not familiar with using layers are encouraged to take the Photoshop Class on Understanding Layers and Masks.
