This class will focus on understanding objective color principles , the subjective use of color and how color contrasts can create impact in watercolor paintings. We will experiment with various approaches to the use of color by applying principles of color harmony to watercolor studies created from observation and imagination- All levels welcome!

BIO Deborah Fowler Greenwood received her Masters in Art Education at Temple University’s Tyler School as well as graduate study at RISD, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Maryland Institute of Art. She has taught watercolor classes at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in Yarmouth and at the Main Line Art Center in Haverford, Pa. She presently teaches art at Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School and was recognized as the Arts Educator of the Year in 2011 by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. She has received numerous exhibition awards and her work can be found in both private and corporate collections.
