Street Photography / John Hames

Street photographers deal with life as it is happening, the unrehearsed subject in an unpredictable environment to observe and capture “the moment.” You’ll visit the work of photography pioneers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Garry Winogrand, Lee Friedlander and other notable street photographers. You’ll learn what makes for a compelling “street” image, how you can better capture the unexpected, and start to define your own approach working in the street.
