Creating Better Reference Photos for Future Paintings

Instructor: Susan Simon

Day: Saturday, March 30th

Time: 1pm-4pm

Cost: Members $70 | Non-Members $90

Description:

Many painters start their studio work from photos they have taken, often with their phones or a small point and shoot camera. This workshop is designed to help them take better pictures as a starting place for future art. Learn some tips for improving your composition skills and advance your ability to get the most from your phone camera. A couple of inexpensive apps will be recommended, but much of this workshop, taught by a fine art photographer, will be about learning how to visualize your shot and then how to get the picture you want to use to launch your easel arts.
