Maybe you are not sure about drawing or feel that you can’t draw a straight line. Or maybe you are interested in learning a completely new way to approach drawing or maybe you are stuck in the quagmire of depending on one media and afraid to use your drawing skills with a different media.

This course is for the rank beginner as well as the advanced student. You will receive the basics in drawing with sighting skills, perspective and shading and composition, but you will also have the opportunity to explore different media…even with brush and ink as a drawing tool. There is an aesthetic to Drawing that is worthy to explore and will also enhance your own Art Appreciation.

There is no limitation on the media you use. Even collage. The choice is yours. We will explore a wide range of approaches to drawing. “There is No One Way to Draw”

We will also explore a wide range of subjects from still life, to landscape and the human figure.

You will also learn how to draw from observation as well as using photo references.

DRAWING IS THE PERSONAL AND MOST DIRECT PATHWAY TO EXPRESSION. My job as an instructor is to introduce this multi-faceted approach to drawing that actually frees you up so you can discover that you really can draw.
