Year-Round Sessions

We offer studio art, photography and digital art classes and workshops year-round, with classes being held in 6 week sessions.

The faculty of our School of Visual Arts are some of the most experienced instructors from on and off Cape Cod, most holding Masters Degrees in Art, and exhibiting their collections in prestigious galleries. Classes are held at Cape Cod Art Center, 3480 Route 6A Barnstable, MA. Workshops typically are one or two days in length. Some workshops are conducted off-campus, from Provincetown to the Coast of Maine. We often bring in instructors from all over the United States.

CCAC has an active Camera Club and Plein AIr Group. CCAC also stewards the National Association of Digital Artists. See more details below.

The CCAC Camera Club meets regularly, with guest speakers, competitions, critiques and a mentor’s table. You must be a CCAC member to participate in the CCAC Camera Club. Dues for the Club are to be paid on the club’s website. Visit https://ccaacc.visualpursuits.com/ to sign up.

Plein Air

The CCAC Plein Air Painters Group will be visiting sites all over Cape Cod from May through October, Monday and Tuesday, 9-12:00. Most of the sites are public areas, others are exclusive private gardens and are only available to the group for that particular day. There is no instructor, just artists painting together sharing many tricks to add to their arsenal! This opportunity is open to members only and there is a $10 fee for the season. Once dues are paid you will be emailed the schedule.
Email Manager@CapeCodArtCenter.org with any questions.

National Association of Digital Artists

The National Association of Digital Artists (naDA) serves digital artists and the digital art community by providing resources for exhibition, networking and education. We are dedicated to empowering artists and promoting digital art as a valid fine art medium.
