Travel sketching isn’t about creating perfect drawings—it’s about paying attention, capturing a

moment, and creating a personal record of your experiences.

Whether you’ve never drawn before or already keep a sketchbook, this workshop will introduce

approachable techniques that can add sketches and visual notes to your travels.

During the workshop, we’ll:

• Explore simple gesture drawing exercises to loosen up and draw with confidence.

• Learn a few basic perspective concepts to help organize quick location sketches.

• Practice from reference images before heading outside to sketch the neighborhood.

• Return to the gallery to enjoy some refreshments and share our sketches in a relaxed,

encouraging atmosphere.

The emphasis is on observation, experimentation, and developing your own visual language—

not perfection.

Please bring:

• A sketchbook or travel journal

• Pens, pencils, or other favorite drawing materials

No previous drawing experience is necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to look a little

more closely at the world around you.
