“So what’s the difference”? This will answer the question!
They are each distinctive methods of printmaking beautiful one-of-a-kind prints, never 2 the same! You will do both!
Often called the “painterly print” this is a way to take your drawing or image and paint onto a “plate”. This a perfecttransition for painters to explore printmaking.
We will discover the effects of layering ink and using the printing press to transfer your work to paper. We will be using Akua Color inks of professional quality and fine art papers which make the inks glow. Participants should bring some sketches or photographs or whatever they want to use for inspiration.
