About Lynn Shepherd:

After a long career in corporate financial services I was finally able to pursue art. Having dabbled in art my whole life I was anxious to become immersed. I was introduced to watercolor at CCAC in classes with Susan Stranz. From there I discovered the botanical art program at Wellesley College which is now run by MA Horticultural Society. It combined my love of gardening, nature and art. I received my Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration in 2024. I work primarily in watercolor but also in colored pencil and silverpoint. I am a juried member of CCAC, a member of NE Watercolor Society, MA Horticultural Society and New England Society of Botanical Artists of which I am the Treasurer. My work is held in both private and corporate collections.
