An ongoing summer program for children ages 9-12 years old!

This summer nature drawing and painting class for ages 9–12 builds foundational art skills through the lens of the natural world. Students will experiment with various media—such as watercolor, Artist drawing pens and markers, and colored pencils—to observe and illustrate botanical life, landscapes, and wildlife. Students will be encouraged to express their own unique voices. Each class will begin (weather permitting) with a short mindful walk observing nature on the CCAC grounds.

Mellissa is a certified licensed teacher in Massachusetts, holds a Masters degree in Painting and Drawing, has been teaching art classes to all ages and abilities for over 20 years. More about her and her work can be found at MellissaMorris.com
