This course is structured to assist you in moving beyond a focus on fine details and perfectionism in artwork. The class will guide you to seek and adopt a more liberated painting method. If you find yourself concentrating excessively on detail, this class will help you towards painting with greater confidence, creativity, and freedom by overcoming the limitations of detail-driven techniques. As your instructor, my objective is to empower you
to express yourself confidently through dynamic choices that reflect both emotion and movement. Together, we will examine methods for creating energetic brushstrokes and study renowned artists who exemplify this expressive approach. I will demonstrate how to achieve bold, expressive marks using established tools and methods. Letting go of perfection lets you paint more freely and enjoy the process more.
