We are currently recruiting for an Executive Director to lead the Cape Cod Art Center and promote the arts on Cape Cod.

The Center has been a leading voice for the arts for more than 75 years with over 1,000 members and a robust offering of courses, workshops, monthly exhibits and receptions. Our custom designed facilities include two galleries for exhibits and two large studios for classes, demonstrations and workshops in a variety of art media. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside highly talented artists and dozens of experienced instructors representing classes and workshops ranging from studio arts to photography to digital art. We are proud to offer services year-round, in an array of mediums and skill level so there is something that appeals to everyone. We welcome beginners, re-emerging artists, Juried Artists and Master Artists. The CCAC has sixty-eight members with the designation of ‘Master Artist’ – a prestigious group recognized across the country for their achievements and numerous awards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual experienced in leading an organization or non-profit, preferably within the Arts & Humanities. The ideal candidate will provide innovative leadership and strategic direction while cultivating a vibrant community of members, artists and instructors. Incumbent must be within a commutable distance to Barnstable. The Executive Director supervises a team of two full-time employees.
If mutually agreed upon, reduced hours may be negotiated for a highly qualified candidate. Salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Strong leadership experience in a nonprofit organization or similar.
· Proven experience in operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
· Experience securing funding from diverse sources, including grants, donations and corporate partnerships preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
