“Light and Shadow”
Photographers of any level were invited to submit to this open juried online exhibit. The light and the shadows are the inspiration for this show. Is the source the sun, a light through a window or an artificial light? Think about what the light touches and what it doesn’t as you view each image. The play the light and dark, positive and negative space.
Images are for sale, inquire by calling the art center at 508-362-2909.
Thank you to Mark Bowie, the award-winning judge, for the difficult work in selecting this show. With nearly 200 entries it was a tough job choosing only these images.
Mark Bowie, Title: Crescent Shadows
As cirrus clouds dance across the night sky, the setting crescent moon casts the shadows of trees on an island across Moss Lake, in the Adirondack Park of northern New York State. Beams of light emanate from the moon and highlight the clouds, adding to the mystery of the night.
