Light Painting Indoors and Out Lisa Cuchara
Learn to transform ordinary subjects and scenes into extraordinary works of photographic art with light painting. All you need to get started is a camera th Bulb mode (most cameras), a tripod for the long exposure, a dark room or dark night skies, a subject and a flashlight or LED light. Lisa will cover the basic techniques used to light paint anything from still lifes, flowers, trees, cars and even nightscapes under starlit skies. Topics include: Gear, lights for light painting, taking a high ISO test shot, focusing at night, exposures under 30 seconds, long exposures (1-60 minutes) and more.
Bio: Lisa Cuchara, PhD, is an OM SYSTEM Ambassador, Master Craftsman (PPA), Master of Artistry (PPA), Master of Photography (M. Photog.) and HonNEC. She is very passionateabout photography and enjoys both being behind the lens and in the digital darkroom. She loves to photograph nature but finds many subjects equally intriguing. Lisa and her husband Tom are known for their expertise in photography and in Photoshop, and for their inspirational and informative photography workshops. They also lead tours in the USA and abroad for Wildside Nature Tours. Lisa has created numerous award-winning photographic images and enjoys sharing her vision, passion, and her knowledge! Her photographs have appeared in Adirondack Life, Wild Bird, Birder’s World, in calendars, on the cover of a fictional paperback novel, in galleries and exhibitions, and been accepted into the PPA loan collection.
