Wendy Hale’s Bio:
Wendy Hale is the President of New England Watercolor Society, a Copley Artist, a signature member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, and a Gallery Artist at South Shore Art Center and Concord Art Association. She has worked as a consultant for the Carlyle and the Gramercy Park Hotels in New York City and has juried and curated exhibits, taught watercolor and received many awards and recognition for her work. Born in New York City, Wendy was immersed in art and architecture. Her father was an architect and her mother, an artist; it was all about visuals. She attended Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and Boston University, where she studied Urban Planning and Architecture. While working in urban planning, she was inspired by her son’s Crayola watercolor paint box and returned to painting. She was intrigued by the medium and has been painting ever since.
