Session 3 1:30-2:30PM
This session will provide an introduction to Procreate, a digital drawing application for the iPad. Procreate turns your iPad into a portable art studio in which to create sketches, paintings, and collages. Tips on making prints of your digital artwork and using Procreate to assist with traditional studio practices will also be discussed. Sample prints will be available for viewing.
Nancy Gruskin Bio
Nancy Gruskin lives and works in Concord, Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. in Art
History and Studio Art from Connecticut College and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Art History
from Boston University. Her paintings and iPad drawings emerge from everyday
experiences and familiar views. She looks for beauty in the commonplace by playing
with color, pattern and form. Gruskin’s work is in private collections throughout the United States, the U.K. and Australia.
