Demo 1045-11:45AM
Unlearning Acrylic
Old habits die hard. If you’re early or recent attempts to use acrylics have been less than successful, or you’re new to acrylic, this demo will help clarify the confusion of working with acrylics. Learn ways to paint with classic acrylic/mediums versus new slow dry acrylic, and see how using both could enhance your art making process. Demo will include painting techniques using classic fast drying acrylic and various mediums, slow drying acrylics and mediums, and combinations of both on different surfaces such as gessoed paper, canvas, and panel. Some previously painted samples will be provided for attendees to review.
